INTERNSHIPS AND FELLOWSHIPS

Immerse yourself into a uniquely hands-on experience coupled with mentorship and professional development in the areas of Design, Digital, Operations, Production, and Strategy.

The Soze Agency’s Internship + Fellowship Program offers opportunities for students, graduates, and early-career professionals to experience the inner-workings of a worker’s owned social-impact, creative agency.

The Internship Program is for current students or early-career professionals looking for an introduction to creative producing in the areas of production, research & strategy, digital, design, or operations. This program provides direct interaction with and access to The Soze Agency daily project operations.

The Fellowship Program is a professional training program for early-career creatives, digital storytellers and production practitioners. Participants are given practical learning experiences, in addition to independent and collective projects, all while working as a part of a project team with a Soze client.  Fellowships are project based, and vary in time commitment and compensation.

APPLICATION DEADLINES AND WORK CYCLE

Internships

  • FALL: September – December

    • Application Due: August 22
       

  • SPRING: January – April

    • Application Due: November 15
       

  • SUMMER: June – August

    • Application Due: May 15

Fellowships are announced on a project-by-project basis. Interested applicants should check online for new and ongoing opportunities.

  • Participating in our program will provide you:

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

  • Weekly Intern + Fellow Check-Ins with Program Lead

  • Interns work up to 25 hours per week and are paid at $12.50/hr

  • Fellows work up to 35 hours per week and compensation is commensurate with the project assignment and applicant experience.

ELIGIBILITY

  • To participate, applicants must meet the following requirements:

    • Currently be a student or have equivalent professional experience

    • Be able to commit to a three-month program

    • Reside in, or be able to commute regularly to, Brooklyn, NY (location of our home office)

    • Have a strong desire to work in one or two of the departments offered for the internship and express this interest in the application
